MENZOLIT joins the CICLO R&D project to advance circularity across industries

Menzolit is participating in CICLO, a strategic R&D initiative under the TransMisiones programme, funded by CDTI and involving leading AEI technology clusters. Led by ACCIONA and coordinated by the GAIKER technology centre, this collaborative project brings together companies and research institutions to develop advanced technological solutions aimed at enhancing circularity.

The project focuses on the development of innovative processes to recycle and repurpose composite materials, such as glassfibre and polymer resins, commonly used in large, long-lasting industrial components. Although wind turbine blades are a central case study, the technologies developed within the project are designed to be transferable and scalable across multiple sectors that use composites, and even to others beyond the composites industry.

At Menzolit, we see this as a unique opportunity to reinforce our commitment to sustainability and innovation. Our involvement in CICLO positions us as a key player in the development of circular technologies that are essential for a greener future, not just for our industry, but for the industrial landscape as a whole.

We firmly believe that the future will be circular. That future will only be viable through cross-sector collaboration and a shared vision of sustainability. Through projects like CICLO, we are already helping to shape that future, today.
