Menzolit – Safety, Health and Environment commitment

Our commitment is to ensure the highest possible level of respect for our people, our neighbours and the environment in which our products are used. We evaluate and monitor the environmental impact of our industrial activity; with focus on minimising, where possible, our emissions to the environment, by controlling our energy consumption and reducing waste within a framework of continuous improvement. As well as fulfilling our legal obligations we are guiding our activities towards effective improvement to surpass the applicable legislation.

In order to achieve these commitments, our goal is to have all Menzolit plants certified according to ISO 14001 and to support our customers and suppliers in order to implement the mentioned standards.

REACH Legislation

The European Union directive REACH (Registration Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals) is aimed at protecting human health and the environment from the risk of chemicals. REACH came into force in June 2007.
REACH attempts to systematically gather information on chemicals, which are in the market, in order to harmonize legislation across the European member states. ECHA published the first recommendation of priority substances to be considered for authorization in June 2009.

All Menzolit products are developed with due consideration of REACH recommendations.
