PRE-ANNOUNCEMENT SMCCREATE 2023 INVITATION TO SPEAKERS
The European Alliance for SMC BMC and the AVK expert task force SMC/BMC are announcing they will organize together SMCCreate 2023, a unique conference about design in SMC and BMC composite materials.
This conference will provide valuable insights in the entire product design process from idea to part manufacturing, targeted both at experienced designers and at designers that are new in applying these versatile materials.
Second edition of SMCCreate design conference
Over 60 participants from Europe and Turkey visited the first SMCCreate Design Conference, which took place in Antwerp from June 28-29, 2022. After this successful start, AVK – Federation of Reinforced Plastics and the European Alliance for SMC BMC are happy to announce the second edition of this unique event:
The SMCCREATE 2023 will take place from November 7-8, 2023 in Prague (Czech Republic) at the Vienna House by Wyndham Diplomat Prague. We invite you to be part of one of the leading SMC/BMC events in the Europe!
Focus on design and engineering
The conference will have a strong focus on helping designers and engineers to choose the best material solution for their application. The focus of the presentations will be best practice and industrial solutions, SMC and BMC component manufacturing, material selection and product development across the entire product life, from design to sustainability.

AVK expert task force SMC/BMC
AVK, the German Federation of Reinforced Plastics, is the professional German association for fiber-reinforced plastics and composites. It represents the interests of manufacturers and processors both in Germany and at the European level. Its range of services includes specialized workgroups, seminars and conferences as well as the provision of market-specific information (www.avk-tv.de). The aim of the AVK expert task force SMC/BMC is coordinating procedures regarding SMC and BMC material optimization. In Germany, AVK is one of four support organizations of GKV, the General Association of the Plastics Processing Industry.
